Sony is bringing back Alpha Fest for 2024, and it’s set to be bigger, bolder, and more immersive than ever.
Taking place from 18th to 20th October at Cloud9 Piazza @ Jewel Changi Airport, Alpha Fest ‘24 is the go-to event for anyone with a love for photography, content creation, or simply capturing life’s best moments.
Alpha Fest ‘24 allows you to get hands-on with some seriously cool setups. One of the highlights is the “Mama Shop – Style Meets Convenience” experience, where you can snap photos that blend modern tech with old-school nostalgia.
If portraits are your thing, don’t miss the “Coffee Shop – Coffee Meets Bokeh” setup. With Sony’s prime lenses at your fingertips, you’ll be able to capture those beautifully intimate shots, all framed by creamy bokeh backgrounds.
For those who enjoy a challenge, the “Telephoto Dragon Playground” brings out your inner hunter. Armed with Sony’s telephoto lenses like the SEL300F28GM, you’ll embark on a fun treasure hunt to capture hidden objects in the event space.
Expect expert talks from some of the top Alpha Professionals and Creators from Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines. Whether you’re into wildlife, travel, sports, or portrait photography, these sessions will give you the tips and inspiration you need to up your game.
If you’re feeling particularly creative, take part in one of the contests on offer. The Photo Contest will see participants submitting images based on the theme of Nostalgia, with commercial directors Shimmon Joel Mathews and Matt Low leading the judging panel.
There’s also a Short-Form Video Contest where creators can capture the essence of Alpha Fest itself, with fantastic prizes waiting for the top three entries.
Speaking of prizes, it wouldn’t be a Sony Alpha Fest without some amazing giveaways. This year’s Daily Lucky Draw is packed with top-tier Sony gear, including a PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, WH-1000XM5 Wireless Noise Cancelling Headphones, and the grand prize, a ZV-E10 II with E PZ 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 OSS II Power Zoom Lens.
