this is how you can dive with sharks in Singapore for Shark Awareness Day.

This Shark Awareness Day, we’re reinventing the meaning of ‘swimming with the fishes’ with diving programmes by Resorts World Sentosa and S.E.A. Aquarium.

Movie and TV Shows have a pretty firm grip on our imaginations when it comes to sharks. Although almost always showcased as man-eating monsters out for an easy human-sized meal, this couldn’t be farther from the truth.

According to Culum Brown, a fish biologist at Macquarie University, sharks are actually incredibly picky eaters. They respond strongly to the smell of fish and seals, and shark attacks on humans only ever happen when they confuse us for their natural prey. Which is why snorkelers and divers are actually the safest from shark attacks
