The vivo V80 Lite 5G is built around a 10,000mAh battery while still keeping the phone relatively slim and portable.
The phone uses fourth-generation silicon anode battery technology together with vivo’s Magic Cube Battery Packaging, allowing it to house the large battery while maintaining a relatively slim form factor.
The V80 Lite 5G also includes reverse charging, allowing it to top up accessories such as wireless earbuds. vivo says its battery health management system is designed to keep capacity at 80 per cent or above after the equivalent of seven years of simulated use.
The phone set a Guinness World Records title for the longest electronic product testing livestream, running for 32 hours and 37 minutes.
The V80 Lite 5G has also passed MIL-STD-810H durability testing and carries both IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. vivo says the phone can withstand immersion in up to 1.5 metres of water for 30 minutes under controlled conditions.
The device has also undergone tests involving heavy rain simulation, washing machine cycles, exposure to 22 common everyday liquids and 2,500 scratch cycles. There is even support for wet- and greasy-hand touch, allowing the display to remain responsive when fingers are damp or oily.
The V80 Lite 5G features a 6.83-inch 1.5K OLED display with 1.35mm bezels and a 94.47 per cent screen-to-body ratio. Peak brightness reaches 2,000 nits in high-brightness mode, while the refresh rate goes up to 120Hz.
The display also supports 1.07 billion colours and includes eye-comfort features such as Sleep Comfort Mode and Gaming Eye Protection. Dual stereo speakers are included as well, with vivo’s VEQ algorithm used to enhance bass response.
The V80 Lite 5G uses a 50MP Sony main camera and a 32MP front camera with a 90-degree field of view.
vivo has also included a suite of AI-assisted productivity tools. Smart Call Assistant supports real-time transcription, translation and summaries during calls, while AI Transcript Assist can turn longer meetings and lectures into organised, searchable text.
vivo Office Kit is designed to make file transfers and hand-offs between devices easier, while One-Tap Transfer supports sharing between compatible vivo devices and supported iPhones.
Shake & Share adds another option for sending photos and videos to several nearby devices at once.
Singapore pricing and availability
The vivo V80 Lite 5G will be available in Singapore from 26 September 2026.
There are two configurations:
- 18GB combined memory listed as 6GB + 12GB, with 128GB of storage, priced at S$499.
- 24GB combined memory listed as 8GB + 16GB, with 256GB of storage, priced at S$699.
