UGREEN MagFlow Magnetic Wireless Power Bank Review: Go with the MagFlow

UGREEN releases its first Qi2-compatible 25W wireless charger just in time to save my iPhone from the iOS 26 battery drain.

The Issues with iOS 26

While I’ve always had reservations about “liquid glass” and its supposed benefits, I still went ahead and updated my ageing but reliable iPhone 13 to iOS 26 about a week after its release. I expected some level of battery drain, but this one was unusually severe: my iPhone would last only around three hours on a full charge with moderate use.

Thankfully, the UGREEN MagFlow Magnetic Wireless Power Bank helped me get through those frustrating days of rapid battery drain.

Ergonomics

The power bank is a bit bulky for my liking, but that’s understandable given the 10,000 mAh battery inside. In theory, that should be enough to charge my iPhone up to three times, but I noticed the power bank drops to below 50% after just one wireless charge.

The built-in braided USB-C cable is a nice touch since it doubles as a strap for easier carrying, though I wish it were slightly longer so it could fit comfortably around my wrist.

The power bank is MagSafe-compatible, and the magnets are impressively strong, holding my iPhone 13 securely in place. I even tried it with the new Pixel 10 Pro Fold, a notoriously heavy foldable phone, and it maintained a solid connection without issue.

Fast Charging

The standout feature for me is the fast-charging capability. The wireless charger supports up to 25W, while the USB-C port goes up to 30W. It’s not the fastest portable charger out there, but it’s a solid performer, especially since it’s Qi2-certified.

You can charge multiple devices simultaneously, though that does reduce the charging speed. I don’t usually need to charge more than one device at a time, but it’s nice to have the option.

Final Thoughts

The UGREEN MagFlow Magnetic Wireless Power Bank feels well-made and durable. It’s a bit thick, but not so much that it makes one-handed phone use awkward while charging. Its fast-charging capabilities and reliable MagSafe connection are the real highlights here.

Even now that my iPhone has recovered from the iOS 26 battery drain, the UGREEN MagFlow has earned a permanent spot in my bag.
