On 10 October, Aquatic SEA lifted the covers on Singapore’s first Smart Pool Experience Centre, a fully operational, 3,358 sq ft living lab in Woodlands designed for aquatic wellness.
Their objective is to make pool ownership feel as effortless as the rest of your smart home. “Our goal is simple, to make pool ownership feel as effortless and intelligent as the rest of today’s smart home experience,” said Carlos Choon, Head of Marketing and spokesperson for Aquatic SEA. “Through this centre, we’re giving homeowners and developers a space to experience sustainable pool technologies in action, and see how innovation can create smarter, healthier living environments.”

What do you actually get to experience?
For starters, the world’s quietest pool pump (just 30 decibels), so your morning laps don’t sound like a construction site. There are cordless, AI-powered robotic cleaners that run for up to 10 hours on a single charge, officially recognised by Guinness World Records for endurance.
Add smart automation tools that track water levels, energy use and maintenance needs, and you have a pool that reports its own homework. Fitness-inclined? Counter-current jets, celebrated by TIME Magazine as one of the Best Inventions of 2025, simulate open-water resistance within a compact footprint. Ideal for athletes, rehab, or simply squeezing a proper swim into a landed home pool.

To prove the point, Singapore national swimmer Quah Jing Wen put those counter-current jets through their paces at the opening, demonstrating how a compact pool can deliver serious training stimulus. For fitness-minded homeowners, this is the difference between a decorative plunge and a pool you’ll actually use.

Each innovation is powered by iGarden, a sub-brand of the Fairland Group whose engineering nous has been showcased at the 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans and through its collaboration with USA Artistic Swimming.
The centre itself is set up as a genuine test environment rather than a static display, so you can see how the systems behave day-to-day.

Beyond the tech, the space points to where the market is heading. The new centre promotes education, sustainability and innovation within Singapore’s growing pool and outdoor-living sector, a category increasingly prioritised in luxury and landed residential developments.
The question isn’t “Should a pool be smart?” so much as “Why would you settle for anything less?” When the filtration is whisper-quiet, the cleaner knows when to clock in, and the system trims kilowatts like a frugal barista skimming foam, you’re left with what matters: water that’s inviting, safe and ready when you are.

Where is it located?
8B Admiralty St, #01-04, 8B @ Admiralty, Singapore 757440.
Step in, roll up your sleeves, and let the centre make its case. If Aquatic SEA has its way, the modern pool won’t be a chore to manage or a guilty environmental pleasure. It’ll be a considered piece of a smarter home.
