If mooncakes could talk, those from The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore would probably whisper poetry. Or perhaps sing a tune about old-world elegance meeting contemporary indulgence.
This Mid-Autumn Festival, the luxury hotel serves up more than just baked delights, offering a sensory experience that wraps flavour, memory, and artistry into one exquisite box.
A Mooncake with a Michelin Twist
Let’s start with the star of the season: the Lychee Oolong White Lotus Seed Paste with Dried Lychee and Macadamia Nuts.
Inspired by the signature Lychee Oolong tea served at the hotel’s One-Michelin-starred Summer Pavilion, this mooncake dances on the palate; delicately floral, subtly earthy, and grounded by the crunch of macadamia.
It’s not often you can say you’ve eaten a Michelin-flavoured mooncake — but here, it’s par for the course.
From Bar to Box: Snowskin with a Spirited Twist
If you’ve ever wondered what Irish cream coffee liqueur would taste like wrapped in a pillowy snowskin, wonder no more. Making its grand debut this year is the Mini Snowskin Irish Cream Coffee Liqueur, a decadent nod to the cocktail set. Smooth, bold, and unapologetically modern, it’s a dessert that flirts with innovation.
Other returning favourites include the elegant Mini Snowskin Green Tea, the zesty Mini Snowskin Lycheetini, and the ever-popular Snowskin “Mao Shan Wang” Durian, which remains divisive in the most delicious way possible.
The Eight Treasures Box: More Than a Pretty Face
The mooncakes come housed in the Eight Treasures Box, otherwise known as the Tray of Togetherness. Its octagonal form (a nod to the hotel’s iconic windows) is cloaked in red and adorned with a floral motif, and it’s designed for reuse. Mooncakes in August, pineapple tarts in February, and who knows what else in between.
A Treat for Early Birds and Cardholders
Those who believe in planning ahead are in luck. From now till 31 August 2025, early birds can enjoy 25% off all mooncake varieties via Summer Pavilion’s online shop. Prefer plastic over punctuality? Citibank, DBS, HSBC, OCBC, POSB, and UOB cardholders enjoy 15% off between 1 September and 6 October 2025.
Mooncakes will be available for collection or delivery starting 18 August for the baked varieties, while snowskin creations land from 4 September onwards. Purchases can be made online or at the Colony Bakery, open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Level Three of the hotel.
