myFirst launches Insta magiBox, a voice-powered AI sticker printer for kids

Children have never been short of ideas. Turning those ideas into something tangible, however, usually requires a pencil, some patience or a willing adult. The myFirst Insta magiBox tries to shorten that journey.

Launched in Singapore on 14 October 2026, the compact AI-powered sticker printer turns spoken prompts into black-and-white illustrations that children can print, colour and customise.

It supports 26 languages and uses a combination of AI models, including Gemini and OpenAI, with safety filters developed specifically for younger users.

A child can say something like “an octopus wearing a sailor’s hat”, and magiBox will generate an illustration, preview it on its 2.8-inch screen and print it automatically.

From there, the child can colour the image, add words or extra details, and use the sticker on notebooks, cards or craft projects. There is also a Voice-to-Story function, which turns a spoken idea into a four-scene illustrated story.

The important part is that AI provides the starting point rather than the finished product.

“AI can provide a starting point, but we want children to decide what happens next. A printed picture gives them something they can change, colour and make their own.”

G-Jay Yong, founder and CEO of myFirst.

Because the product is aimed at children, safety is a central part of the system. Prompts are checked before content is generated. If a request fails the safety filters, magiBox blocks the image and asks the child to try another idea instead.

Voice recognition supports languages including English, Mandarin, Korean, Japanese, Malay, Indonesian, Hindi, Thai, Vietnamese and Filipino, allowing children to describe ideas without first translating them into English.

The magiBox includes six built-in art styles and can print a generated image in around 30 seconds.

Once configured through the myFirst Circle app, it can operate over Wi-Fi without requiring a phone to remain connected. Parents can still use the app to view, save and reprint their child’s creations.

The thermal sticker rolls are BPA- and BPS-free, with each roll producing roughly 50 images. A full charge supports up to 120 Voice-to-Image prints.
