Xiaomi has launched its new 17T Series in Singapore, introducing the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro as the latest additions to its T Series line-up.
The new range brings dual-size options to the series for the first time, while also extending Leica 5x telephoto capability across both models.
Xiaomi is positioning the phones as imaging-focused flagships that combine stronger camera hardware, larger batteries and eye-care display features in a more refined design.
Both models feature a triple-camera setup led by a 50MP main camera, paired with a Leica 5x telephoto camera and a 12MP ultra-wide camera.
The Pro uses a larger 1/1.31-inch main sensor, while the standard 17T uses a 1/1.55-inch sensor. Both phones also use Leica UltraPure optical design and a Leica Summilux lens structure.
The Leica 5x telephoto camera is one of the more notable upgrades, because Xiaomi has now extended it to both models rather than reserving it for the higher tier.
On the Pro model, Xiaomi is also adding 4K 60fps cinematic recording through the telephoto camera, together with specialised modes such as Stage for more difficult lighting conditions.
Xiaomi is also introducing a new feature called Leica Live Moment, which is designed to capture motion and expression leading into a shot rather than just a single still frame. The feature allegedly works across all rear camera focal lengths and carries Leica’s visual style throughout.
Leica Live Portrait extends the idea into portrait photography with natural background blur, while the Pro model adds Ultra-HD Live Moment in 4K, along with Freestyle and Portrait Live cinematography options.
On the display side, the 17T Series debuts what Xiaomi calls Xiaomi Vision Care, a set of eye-comfort features intended to adapt to ambient light and manage blue light, flicker and motion blur more effectively.
The line-up is also the first to receive TÜV Rheinland quadruple eye-care certification, as well as the company’s first TÜV Rheinland Intelligent Eye Care certification. Both devices use 1.5K AMOLED panels with peak brightness of 3,500 nits, while the 17T Pro goes further with a minimum brightness of 1 nit for very low-light viewing.
The Xiaomi 17T uses a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, while the Xiaomi 17T Pro moves to a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with refresh rates of up to 144Hz.
The Xiaomi 17T Pro carries a 7,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, which Xiaomi says is the largest on a Xiaomi Series smartphone in international markets to date. It supports 100W wired HyperCharge and 50W wireless HyperCharge.
The Xiaomi 17T, despite being smaller, still carries a 6,500mAh battery with 67W HyperCharge. Both also support 22.5W wired reverse charging.
Performance differs between the two phones, but both are clearly aimed at the upper end of the market. The Xiaomi 17T Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 built on a 3nm process, while the Xiaomi 17T uses the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra on a 4nm process.
Both models come with LPDDR5X memory, UFS 4.1 storage, Xiaomi’s 3D IceLoop cooling system, Xiaomi HyperOS, Xiaomi HyperAI, Circle to Search with Google and Google Gemini support.
In Singapore, the Xiaomi 17T Series will be sold through mi.com, Xiaomi Stores, and the brand’s official stores on Shopee and Lazada.
Pricing starts at S$799 for the Xiaomi 17T 12GB+256GB, rises to S$949 for the Xiaomi 17T 12GB+512GB, then S$999 for the Xiaomi 17T Pro 12GB+256GB, and S$1,149 for the Xiaomi 17T Pro 12GB+512GB.
Xiaomi is also running launch promotions. From 28 May at 10pm to 4 June 2026, pre-order customers will receive benefits worth up to S$690, including a free REDMI Pad 2 9.7 on selected purchases.
From 5 to 30 June 2026, open sales buyers will receive benefits worth up to S$550, including a free REDMI Headphones Neo. Buyers in Singapore will also receive additional bundled perks such as trials for Google AI Pro, YouTube Premium and Spotify Premium, along with two years of quality assurance and one free screen replacement within six months.
