myFirst has officially launched its most advanced instant camera yet, the myFirst Camera Insta Lux.
Instant cameras have always been loved for turning special moments into physical keepsakes instantly, but that convenience often came at the cost of print quality and durability.
The myFirst Insta Lux changes that by combining the speed of instant photography with dye-sublimation printing technology, producing high-quality prints that are waterproof and fingerprint-resistant.
Unlike traditional instant film, which relies on light-sensitive chemicals that react when exposed to light, dye-sublimation printing uses heat to transfer colour onto photo paper in multiple layers. Each print is then finished with a protective coating, producing durable prints with colours that can remain vibrant for decades, making them well-suited for scrapbooking, wallets and phone cases.
The Insta Lux features a 5MP camera with Smart Exposure, allowing users to take clear, well-balanced photos across a range of lighting conditions without having to adjust a single setting.
Combined with easy-to-use creative frames and filters, the myFirst Insta Lux makes it fun and easy to add a personal touch to every shot.
The Insta Lux also pairs with the myFirst Circle app, allowing users to print photos directly from their smartphone gallery.
Retailing at S$239, the Insta Lux is designed for families and young creators who want a simple way to capture and print everyday moments. Refills are priced at S$19.90 for two film cartridges that deliver up to 20 prints, or about S$1 per print.
Available in Cotton Candy Mix and Grey, the myFirst Camera Insta Lux is now available at the myFirst digital store, myFirst Suntec Experience Store, and POPULAR Bookstores across the country.
