Barilla Launches Premium Al Bronzo Pasta Range

Barilla Al Bronzo

Barilla is launching its new premium pasta range Al Bronzo, in Singapore, perfect for those who love to mop their pasta sauce cleanly from their plates to enjoy a dish to the fullest.

Every new Al Bronzo shape is created with one clear taste goal in mind: to maximise flavour in every bite.

Produced using a traditional, patented bronze extrusion method known as Lavorazione Grezza and crafted with micro-engravings, Al Bronzo pasta carries distinctive geometry, ridges, and calibrated thickness. This cumulates to a distinctive rough, porous texture that allows sauces to cling effortlessly.

Every strand, ridge and curve of pasta can deliver richer experiences even for simpler recipes, as the pasta can enhance the taste for even lighter emulsions or oil-based sauces, beyond red and white sauces found commonly in Italian cuisine.

Al Bronzo is made using carefully selected durum wheat, expertly milled into high‑quality semolina with a protein content exceeding 14%. This high protein quality contributes to the pasta’s firm texture and elasticity, resulting in a consistently satisfying al dente finish.

The selected grains also give the pasta its naturally vibrant amber hue that brightens up any pasta dish. As such, besides providing extraordinary sauce retention, Al Bronzo pasta offers exceptional cooking resistance and consistent texture.

“A great pasta dish is all about balance: the right texture, the right bite, and the way it carries the sauce. The unique rough texture of the Al Bronzo pasta acts like a canvas, gripping every drop of sauce so that each mouthful is as flavourful as intended.”

Chef Andrea Tranchero, Executive Chef at Barilla APAC

The Barilla Al Bronzo range features four classic pasta shapes – SpaghettiLinguinePenne Rigate, and Fusilli.

Starting today, the Barilla Al Bronzo series will be available at all FairPrice Finest, FairPrice Xtra outlets and selected FairPrice outlets.

At launch, pasta lovers can purchase the Barilla Al Bronzo pasta at a promotional price of $3.65 each (U.P. $4.25).
