SHARP Introduces AQUOS sense10 With Smarter AI For Everyday Life

Sharp Aquos Sense 10

SHARP has pulled the wraps off the AQUOS sense10, a new “standard” smartphone designed very much with everyday users in mind.

Built on the Snapdragon® 7s Gen 3 Mobile Platform, it delivers around 20% higher CPU performance, 40% better GPU performance and a 30% bump in AI capability over the previous AQUOS sense generation, so it is better equipped to cope with modern workloads, from casual gaming to AI-enhanced photography.

On the outside, it looks compact and unassuming. Under the hood, it is quietly engineered for stamina. The 6.1-inch Pro IGZO OLED display is tuned for efficiency, and when paired with a 5,000 mAh battery, SHARP estimates up to two days of use based on ten hours of daily activity from a single charge.

“The AQUOS sense10 continues SHARP’s commitment to combining Japanese craftsmanship with advanced AI technology to enrich everyday life,” said Mr Woo Keat Chew, Managing Director of SHARP Singapore. “Every detail, from the new AI function Vocalist and new Showcase Photo Mode reflects our dedication to quality, practicality and innovation. Dedicated for versatility and ease of use, the AQUOS sense10 embodies SHARP’s belief in creating technology that fits seamlessly into modern lifestyles.”

Sharper, smoother, and easier on the eyes

SHARP’s Pro IGZO OLED display automatically scales its refresh rate from a battery-sipping 1 Hz, when you are viewing something static, up to a butter-smooth 120 Hz when you are scrolling and gaming. In supported apps, the panel can insert black frames between images, creating the effect of a 240 Hz display. The screen also hits up to 1,500 nits of full-screen brightness, which means those midday WhatsApp messages on the pavement outside the MRT are actually legible instead of becoming a guessing game of silhouettes.

All of this runs on the Snapdragon® 7s Gen 3 Mobile Platform with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, so multitasking feels deliberate rather than desperate.

AI that tidies up your photos – and your conversations

The camera system is where SHARP has quietly borrowed from its premium AQUOS R10 playbook. Around the back, you get a 50.3-megapixel standard camera with a large 1/1.55-inch sensor and optical stabilisation, paired with a 50.3-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

Beyond the hardware, the sense10 leans heavily on AI correction modes first seen on the AQUOS R10. A new Showcase Mode tackles reflections on glass, so you spend less time angling your body like a contortionist and more time actually composing the frame. For documents and notes, the phone not only removes shadows but also corrects trapezoidal distortion, making captured pages easier to read and share.

On the audio front, SHARP has introduced a new AI function called Vocalist. The idea is simple but clever: you register your own voice, and the phone’s AI learns to recognise it. During calls, it then isolates your voice and filters out other people and background noise, so the person on the other end hears you.

For the first time in the AQUOS sense line, SHARP has also fitted dual box speakers at the top and bottom of the phone. The brand claims roughly 25% higher perceived sound pressure and up to 85% stronger bass than the previous model, which translates into fuller audio for videos, calls and casual music listening without instantly reaching for your earbuds.

Built for real-world knocks and spills

The sense10 is not just about looking good in lifestyle shots. It meets MIL-STD-810H standards across fifteen different tests, including immersion and rain, vibration, humidity, high- and low-temperature operation and storage, low-pressure tests and icing scenarios. Shock resistance has also been validated to MIL-STD-810G drop tests.

In addition, the handset is rated IPX5/IPX8 for water resistance and IP6X for dust protection. Biometric security is handled by both face recognition (even with a mask on) and a fingerprint sensor, while NFC, nano-SIM plus eSIM dual-SIM support and microSD card compatibility round out the connectivity story.
