This September, Canon Singapore teams up with racing photography icon Darren Heath to form a special collaboration of talks and community activities designed to inspire the next wave of visual storytellers here.

Darren Heath has spent 35 years chasing speed across the globe, photographing 550 Grands Prix with a style that’s as precise as it is poetic. He’ll peel back the curtain in The Art of the Race, a Singapore seminar dedicated to the stories, split-second decisions and signature panning techniques behind his most recognisable images.

“Photography is about capturing a moment and telling a story through creativity, perspective, and emotion. Partnering with Canon gives me the opportunity to share not just my work, but also my passion for the art with enthusiasts in Singapore,” he says.

The Art of the Race takes place on Tuesday, 30 September 2025, 6.30pm, at Wyndham Singapore Hotel, Level 5 (South Tower), 3 Coleman Street. Tickets are S$6 (incl. GST), available first-come, first-served, with registration now open.

Expect hard-won lessons from circuits around the world, a candid look at the challenges of shooting high-speed action, and practical pointers you can bring to your next track day or your next school sports meet.

Canon’s collaboration with Heath is part of a wider push to inspire creativity and connect communities across Singapore, from students and hobbyists to seasoned pros.
