Samsung has launched the Galaxy S26 Series in Singapore.
This time round, Samsung is making artificial intelligence feel less like a laboratory experiment and more like a quiet, competent assistant who knows when to step in.
“We believe AI should be something people can depend on every day, working quietly in the background so people can focus on what matters.”
TM Roh, Chief Executive Officer and Head of Samsung’s Device eXperience Division
The S26 Series anticipates when you might need a photo from a recent trip, flags calendar conflicts from incoming messages, and surfaces relevant reminders before you even think to search for them. Samsung calls these features Now Nudge and Now Brief.
Power, properly deployed

The Galaxy S26 Ultra runs on the Snapdragon® 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy, delivering notable gains across CPU, GPU and NPU performance.
A 19 per cent uplift in CPU performance means snappier responsiveness. A 39 per cent improvement in NPU capability powers always-on AI features without stutter. And a 24 per cent GPU boost ensures richer visuals and smoother gameplay.

Samsung has also redesigned the vapour chamber for better heat dissipation. If you have ever held a flagship phone that turned uncomfortably warm during extended use, you will appreciate why this matters. Performance is one thing. Sustained performance is quite another.
The S26 Ultra reaches up to 75 per cent in around 30 minutes.
A camera system that feels effortless

Samsung has long been serious about its cameras. The S26 Ultra continues that tradition with a 200MP wide sensor, enhanced telephoto capabilities, and improved low-light performance.
Wider apertures allow more light to reach the sensor; 47 per cent more on the 200MP wide camera and 37 per cent more on the 5x telephoto compared to the previous generation.
Enhanced Nightography Video keeps footage vibrant even in dim conditions, whether at an indoor concert or around a campfire. Super Steady now includes a horizontal lock option for more stable framing.
And for creators who demand professional workflows, the S26 Ultra introduces support for APV, a new video standard designed for efficient compression without sacrificing quality. That may not excite casual users, but for content creators, it signals Samsung’s intent to compete seriously in the pro space.

Editing is equally AI-driven. With the upgraded Photo Assist suite, you can describe changes in plain language, such as shift day to night, restore missing elements, and even adjust outfits in photos.
Privacy at a pixel level

In an age where AI increasingly relies on personal data, privacy becomes paramount. The S26 Ultra introduces something Samsung calls Privacy Display.
Unlike traditional stick-on privacy films, this solution is integrated. It can activate automatically when entering passwords or opening selected apps, with adjustable levels of visibility.
Availability in Singapore

The Galaxy S26 Series is available for pre-order now, with general availability beginning 11 March 2026. The range includes the S26 Ultra, S26+ and S26, offered in Cobalt Violet, White, Black and Sky Blue, with online-exclusive Pink Gold and Silver Shadow.
