Zeekr Has Officially Launched In Singapore.

Zeekr is now in Singapore, and its first foray into the local automotive market is the new Zeekr X.

Zeekr is part of the Geely Holding Group, a global automotive giant based in Hangzhou, China. Known for its portfolio, the group includes names like Volvo, Polestar, and Lotus.

Zeekr’s Singapore debut is a significant step in its Southeast Asian expansion, following a successful launch in Thailand.

Mars Chen, Zeekr’s Vice President, expressed optimism about Singapore’s evolving EV market. “Singapore’s EV transition is rapidly advancing, and we believe our vehicles can provide a superior driving experience that fits perfectly with urban lifestyles,” said Chen.

Zeekr X.

The Zeekr X is the brand’s first model to grace Singapore. Built on the Sustainable Experience Architecture (SEA), this premium compact SUV is poised to take on a few of the already established premium names in the market.

All models of the Zeekr X on our shores will feature a 66kWh lithium-ion battery, offering up to 440km of range (based on the single motor, rear-wheel drive variant).

With 150kW DC fast charging, you can juice up from 10-80% in under 30 minutes. The 11kW AC on-board charger can do the same full charge in about 7 hours.

The inside is a little more upmarket, with a nice blend of premium materials. Designers were going for a more clean aesthetic, hence the sparce placement of buttons.

To circumvent this, the Zeekr X has a Voice Assistant driven by AI, which allows you to control navigation, climate, and media with voice commands.

Interesting settings do exist, like Theatre Mode that adjusts seats for optimal music enjoyment, while Pet Mode keeps the cabin comfortable for your furry friends.

Security is also handled with the suspiciously-similarly-named Sentry Mode, which records activity around the vehicle while it is parked.

Prospective customers can view the Zeekr X at the Zeekr Experience Centre on Leng Kee Road.
