OPPO Debuts New Reno15 Series

OPPO Reno15 Series

The new OPPO Reno15 Series is an unabashed attempt to bundle headline-grabbing cameras with studio-quiet processing and great battery stamina.

The big plot twist is the 50MP Ultra-Wide Selfie Camera with a 100° field of view. It’s paired with the Reno Portrait Engine and a skin-tone algorithm that keeps texture honest rather than porcelain-smooth.

Round the back, the Reno15 Pro Max 5G gets a 200MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera for ruthless cropping, while the 50MP Telephoto Portrait (≈85mm equivalent) delivers half-body portraits with natural compression.

Vloggers get 4K HDR Ultra-Steady Video, Dual-View Video, and Seamless Camera Switch mid-recording, so your one-take walk-and-talk doesn’t fall apart when you flip the camera. A refreshed Video Editing 2.0 trims, grades and ships from the Photos app itself.

With IP66/IP68/IP69 resistance and Splash Touch, wet-hand swipes still register. Displays are bright, fast 120Hz panels (up to 6.78-inch with svelte 1.15mm bezels on the Pro Max), and the batteries stretch to 6,500mAh+ with 80W SUPERVOOC for the classic “espresso-to-100%” top-ups. OPPO’s ColorOS 16 and Trinity Engine chase long-term smoothness, backed by up to 6-Year Fluency Protection.

The Dimensity 8450 with AI HyperBoost 2.0 aims for stable 120fps in supported titles, while AI LinkBoost 3.0, a SignalBoost Chip X1 (Pro models) and an exclusive NetworkBoost Chip S1 (Pro Max) try to keep latency civil on crowded networks. Capture highlights with upgraded Game Capture or 1080p Motion Photos when that clutch play lands.

Cross-platform folk will like O+ Connect for fast OPPO↔︎iOS/iPadOS transfers, plus seamless mirroring and remote PC control for macOS and Windows.

On the AI side, AI Mind Space corrals snippets with a three-finger swipe, while AI Translate, AI Recording, AI Call Assistant and AI VoiceScribe tuck into OPPO’s Private Computing Cloud for on-device-first privacy.
