FairPrice Group is bringing back Share-A-Textbook, Singapore’s largest textbook donation drive, for its 43rd edition.
From 13 to 26 November 2025, members of the public can drop off pre-loved, MOE-approved textbooks at all nine FairPrice Xtra hypermarkets or at the Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre. Volunteers from 33 community and corporate partners will sort donations from 26 November to 4 December, before distribution on 5–6 December at Tzu Chi Humanistic Youth Centre.
Launched in 1982, Share-A-Textbook has already rehomed more than seven million books to nearly 300,000 students. That scale matters: the programme has grown into a national relay of goodwill, connecting families, schools, and charities in a loop that saves wallets and cuts waste.

The drive also sits within FairPrice Group’s wider “make every day a little better” agenda. Recent heartland initiatives range from A Full Plate, Singapore’s largest food donation push, to expanding Neighbourhood Food Share to 60 distribution points by end-2025.
Fuelling more than 12,000 Primary 6 pupils through the Cheers Breakfast Club, doubling discounts for CHAS Blue and Orange cardholders with large families (September to December 2025), and launching The Carbon Gallery to help residents make planet-positive choices.
If you’ve a shelf full of “once-used, still-useful” texts, now’s the time to pass them on.
