Earthopia Fest 2025: Where Youth Turn Good Intentions Into Green Habits

Earthopia Fest 2025

Earthopia Fest, the nation’s inaugural youth-led sustainability festival, lands at Dhoby Ghaut Green on 24–25 October.

The festival includes two days of workshops, talks and wellness sessions designed to nudge awareness into action, one practical habit at a time.

The festival is framed around three themes (Climate Action, Circular Living, and Wellness), each with its own playbook. Climate Action gets hands-on with content creation for good; Circular Living turns leftovers, offcuts and pre-loved threads into things you’ll actually use or wear; and Wellness connects the dots between caring for yourself and caring for the planet.

We want Earthopia Fest to be a reflection of the vision behind City Sprouts where we reimagine how communities can come together to live, learn and act sustainably. We hope attendees will roll up their sleeves, try something new, and discover joy in making a real difference, together.

Start with the Climate Action track, where Kong Man Jing (Biogirl MJ) of Just Keep Thinking leads a workshop on turning complex green ideas into short, punchy stories. You’ll learn to brainstorm, script and create digital content that travels.

“Science and sustainability should be fun, relatable, and easy to put into practice. Earthopia Fest is about showing that even small changes in our lifestyle and the food we eat can make a real difference. I hope the festival sparks curiosity and empowers young people to see that living sustainably can be both exciting and rewarding.”

Over at Circular Living, the focus is on making waste work for you. Circular food sessions reimagine scraps and staples as proper dishes; circular craft workshops rescue materials from the bin and turn them into functional or decorative pieces. Learn a skill you’ll use next week, not just admire on the day.

Finally, there’s Wellness, set against the greenery of Dhoby Ghaut itself. Elemental Yoga to quieten the mind-body noise, a Gong Bath to settle the nervous system, and a reminder that resilience is a habit. Sustainability has always been about systems, and your own body is one of them. If you’re burnt out, it’s hard to care, much less act. These sessions make the case that rest is part of the work.

Festivals need a pulse, and Earthopia’s is a lively one. Roving acts and live music animate the lawns by day before the stage flips into a community concert after sunset featuring Benjamin Kheng, Island Voices, Estelle Fly, and DJ Hammy.

Between sessions, the retail marketplace lines up sustainable and artisanal brands, while the F&B zone keeps things deliciously local, from Average Service’s creative bites to Supersub and Marumochi, with craft beers poured by Sunbird Brewing Company.

Entry is free; tickets and deals live at earthopia.sg.
