Launched in Singapore on 25 September 2025, the HONOR X9d is one of the first smartphones to clinch SGS Triple Resistant Premium Performance Certification, pairing that armour with an 8,300mAh battery and a camera stack that punches above its weight.
The 8,300mAh silicon-carbon cell is tuned with a self-developed anti-ageing algorithm to retain over 80% capacity after six years. HONOR reckons you can stretch to three days between charges, with lab figures quoting up to 52.5 hours of music streaming, 23.8 hours of online video, 16.8 hours of gaming and 12.3 hours of video chat on a single fill.
When you do need juice, 66W HONOR SuperCharge gets you moving quickly, while Ultra Power Saving Mode keeps calls going for up to 60 minutes at 2%. There’s even 7.5W wired reverse charging to top up on the go.

Beyond SGS Triple Resistant and SGS 5-Star Comprehensive Reliability ratings, the chassis is reinforced with HONOR Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology and non-Newtonian fluid layers, while ultra-deep tempered glass shrugs off stony pavements and the odd hard knock.
HONOR quotes survival from drops up to 2.5 metres (onto certain surfaces), plus war stories about shrugging off impacts that would leave lesser phones sulking in a drawer.
The Three-layer Water Resistance Structure 2.0 supports IP69K water protection, with testing across rinsing, splashing, thick/dirty water, high-temperature water (≤10s), dynamic water and ultra-high-pressure jets. HONOR says the device keeps functioning after 30 minutes at 1.5 metres underwater.
Add AI Heavy Rain Touch and AI Glove Touch, and you can still answer calls or map your route when the sky turns dramatic.

The 108MP Ultra-sensing main sits on a 1/1.67-inch sensor with OIS + EIS, delivering brighter, sharper frames day or night. With HONOR Connection, even HD live photos transfer to iOS, easing the “green bubble, blue bubble” détente.
The screen is cut for comfort and punch. You’re looking at a 6.79-inch Eye-comfort OLED with 1.5K resolution, 1.07 billion colours, 120Hz refresh, and an industry-leading 6,000-nit peak HDR brightness for legibility under fierce sun.
3,840Hz PWM risk-free dimming, Circadian Night Display, AI Defocus Display, Dynamic Dimming, and hardware-level Low Blue Light. 1.3mm ultra-narrow bezels push the screen-to-body to 94.6%, so content owns the front.

Under the bonnet, Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 handles the graft with claimed bumps of +29% GPU and +11% CPU over its predecessor. Pair that with RAM Turbo for an effective 24GB experience (12GB physical + 12GB virtual) and you get clean app switching without the mid-scroll stutter.
Storage is generous at 256GB or 512GB, giving you runway for years of photos, maps and offline playlists. Cooler still, the battery’s multi-point temperature monitoring keeps performance steady from –30°C to 55°C.
If your checklist reads “lasts longer, breaks less, looks better”, this feels like the sensible, quietly ambitious choice.
