On the Galaxy A17, Samsung brings over fan-favourite smarts from its flagships. Press and hold the side button to activate Gemini, or go fully hands-free with Gemini Live; both slot neatly into Samsung, Google or third-party apps (Spotify included). Circle to Search with Google is here too.
Cameras that keep their nerve
The A17 gets a steadier hand in low light with enhanced OIS, plus a triple rear system: 50MP main, 5MP ultra-wide, and 2MP close-up for texture and details.
Big screens, smooth scrolls, sane battery
Both phones serve up 6.7-inch displays with a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling; the A17 dials it up with Super AMOLED punch. Under the hood are upgraded processors to keep everyday multitasking snappy.
A 5,000mAh battery and 25W Fast Charging round out the endurance brief, so you’re not hunting sockets by mid-afternoon.
Security that minds its own business
Samsung’s Knox Vault ring-fences sensitive data in tamper-resistant hardware. Theft Protection can lock the home screen remotely and force biometric sign-in, while Auto Blocker shuts the door on sideloaded apps and other dodgy behaviour.

Built to last, not to weigh you down
Both phones use a Glass Fibre Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) back with IP45 dust and splash resistance. The A17 fronts up with Corning® Gorilla® Glass Victus®+ for added resilience, and trims to 7.5mm thin (the A07 is 7.6mm).
