This September, City Square Mall is turning the dial up on movement, play and family time with a month-long line-up that blends high-energy fun, sustainability smarts, and very decent shopping perks.
Think a bouldering arena, a SpongeBob SquarePants eco-trail for the kids (and the kid in you), hands-on workshops, and rewards that actually feel rewarding.
From 5 September to 5 October, shoppers can earn exclusive rewards while exploring a strong cast of athleisure and sports brands under one roof. Brands participating include:
- Adidas (#03-03)
- Puma (#03-10) and Under Armour (#03-16)
- MST Golf Super Store (#03-18)
- Anta Kids (#02-16)
- Decathlon (#02-03)
- Skechers (#01-36)

5 September to 31 October (workshops 5–7 September), City Square Mall hosts The Great Ocean Dash — Ocean Action Discovery Trail, a five-station, self-guided journey running from B2 up to Level 1. With SpongeBob SquarePants and friends as your cheerful guides, families learn about recycling and ocean health the fun way, collecting stamps in a digital trail passport along the route.
Complete the trail and you could win tickets to The Great Ocean Dash fun run on 23 November, a carnival of sustainability booths, games and activities for all ages. Hands-on eco workshops across the opening weekend show you how to upcycle into simple DIY projects.

From 3 to 5 October (10am–8pm), City Square Mall partners NUS to host BoulderActive 2025—Singapore’s longest-running national bouldering competition. Expect 400+ climbers and 2,000+ attendees, with categories open to both beginners and seasoned chalk lovers. Register via @nusboulderactive on Instagram and join the fun.
“After a two-year long hiatus, we are thrilled to bring NUS BoulderActive 2025 back, this time at City Square Mall. Our goal has always been to make the sport more accessible while inspiring the next generation of climbers. Partnering with City Square Mall allows us to extend this spirit of adventure to families and the wider public, and we look forward to an exciting weekend of fun and discovery,” said Conrad Lee, Project Director of NUS BoulderActive.
The mall’s Green Square (B1) transforms into a lively indoor climbing arena, complete with a special appearance by Erin McNiece (Team GB), who made her Olympic debut at Paris 2024 (5th in the combined Boulder & Lead event) and, in 2025, became the first British woman to win World Cup gold at the IFSC in Bern. Meet her at a free meet-and-greet on 5 October (B1 Green Square).
Redeem a pass for the children’s climbing wall at Level 1 Atrium with a minimum $60 spend in up to three same-day receipts (at least one from the Sports category: Adidas Outlet, Anytime Fitness, Decathlon, MST Golf Super Store, Puma Outlet, Under Armour Outlet). Passes run daily, 12pm–8pm. Elsewhere, try the pull-up & hang challenges, collect stamps on a bingo-style card, and visit partners’ booths for interactive experiences and small prizes.

This September, stack satisfaction on top of steps. Redeem a $10 CDL e-Voucher with $100 (or $120*—see note) spent, capped at 3 combined receipts ($20 minimum per receipt). Limited to the first 3,000 redemptions, one per shopper per day.
With so much to do, see and score, September at City Square Mall feels less like a promotion and more like a plan. Lace up, show up, and make a day of it.
