Jabra Launches New PanaCast 40 VBS

Jabra Panacast 40 VBS

The Jabra PanaCast 40 VBS is a compact Android-powered video bar following the successful footsteps of its older sibling, the PanaCast 50 VBS.

By all accounts, the world of work has been turned inside out. Once a place of 9-to-6 routines and stale meeting rooms, the office is now a shape-shifting arena, hybrid by default, dynamic by design.

But, while open offices and collaboration corners have sprung up like mushrooms after the rain, the humble huddle room has been quietly left behind, starved of tech and attention.

How do you make every person in a small room visible, including the poor soul glued to the edge of the screen? Jabra’s answer is dual cameras stitched together to deliver an ultra-wide 180° field of view, wall-to-wall coverage.

Six beamforming microphones, aided by intelligent audio algorithms, zero in on voices and filter out noise.

If the words “video conferencing installation” conjure images of tangled cables and IT personnel sighing heavily, rest easy. The PanaCast 40 VBS has been designed for rapid deployment, with thoughtful packaging that lets you provision the device without even taking it out of the box.

The PanaCast 40 VBS supports Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and BYOD configurations. Android-certified and MDEP-based, it offers both security and scalability, all managed via the Jabra+ platform.

Optional add-ons like a touchscreen controller and detachable faceplate round off the package. It’s also ADA-compliant and fits snugly into any modern workspace.

As Rayson Seow, Country Manager for Enterprise, Singapore, puts it: “The modern workplace is undergoing a transformation, with organisations reimagining how their spaces can drive productivity and collaboration. Small rooms, phone booths and huddle spaces are a cornerstone of this evolution, yet they’ve often been overlooked by traditional video solutions. With the PanaCast 40 VBS, we’re addressing this gap by delivering a flexible, intuitive, and future-proof Android solution that empowers teams to collaborate seamlessly, regardless of room size or platform preference.”

So, who is the PanaCast 40 VBS for?

It’s for the office that wants to level up its meeting experience without blowing the budget. It’s for the IT manager craving simplicity, and the hybrid team longing for equality.

MSRP of SGD$2,206 for the video bar and SGD$3,235 for the full bundle.
