If you’ve walked past Gentle Monster recently and done a double take, you’re not imagining it! The Korean eyewear label has officially unveiled its renewed flagship stores in Singapore, and they’re anything but ordinary.
To mark the relaunch, Gentle Monster hosted an exclusive reopening event at its expanded Marina Bay Sands space on 1 August 2025 with a special guest appearance by Korean actor Kim Min-Gyu.
The MBS Flagship Is Now a Two-Storey Experience
The newly refreshed Gentle Monster store can still be found at its usual Marina Bay Sands location, but step inside and you’ll notice it’s been completely transformed. Now a full duplex, the space is bigger, bolder, and built for exploration.
At the heart of the store? The GIANT HEAD KINETIC OBJECT designed by the Gentle Monster Robotics Lab. This kinetic installation is one you can’t miss. It features three massive sculptural heads that continuously shift in expression, with each movement reflecting the brand’s fascination with cognitive perception and artistic storytelling.
It’s part sculpture, part machine, and all Gentle Monster, blurring the line between retail and art.
