Kahoot! has just anchored itself in Singapore as the strategic hub for Asia-Pacific.
The platform best known for lighting up classrooms with interactive quizzes and playful competition is now playing in the big leagues.
On 1 July 2025, Kahoot! officially unveiled its APAC headquarters in the Lion City, marking a milestone moment in its mission to make learning awesome across borders, time zones, and industries.
Why Singapore?

According to Ahteram Uddin, Vice President Commercial, APAC at Kahoot!, “Singapore is one of the most forward-looking markets in the world when it comes to lifelong learning and digital transformation.”
At a media event that featured a flurry of demos and discussion panels, the Kahoot! team painted a vivid picture of what this expansion really means. The office will be a command centre for innovation, outreach, and education empowerment.
And the timing couldn’t be better. In the past year alone, Kahoot! welcomed over 250 million non-unique participants across the region. In Southeast Asia and Japan, more than 750,000 teachers have tapped into Kahoot!’s magic to supercharge lessons, motivate students, and make learning fun.
But it’s not just schools feeling the love. The platform’s business offering, Kahoot! 360, has found its way into boardrooms and breakrooms alike. From onboarding new hires to jazzing up otherwise mundane corporate training, it’s turning yawns into wide-eyed enthusiasm. “We’re focused on helping organisations transform onboarding, upskilling, and internal communication into engaging, impactful experiences,” Uddin explained.
A sentiment echoed by Billy Yip, a local HR professional who shared his experience on the panel: “With Kahoot!, it’s a simple yet powerful tool that helps me run effective meetings that foster interaction and maintain focus. Despite time constraints, I can generate an interactive presentation instantly.”
For those still imagining Kahoot! as a glorified quiz game, allow us to update you.

Kahoot! now has AI-powered question generators, smart note scanning, and seamless localisation across Asian languages from Vietnamese and Japanese to Bahasa Indonesia. Even Hello Kitty and Peanuts have joined the party, thanks to Kahoot!’s growing list of premium content partners.
And in classrooms, teachers like Sabina Mammadova from One World International School are noticing the impact. “My students really enjoy learning alongside their classmates. It has become a powerful tool for positive reinforcement and rewards, all while saving time on lesson prep.”
So, what’s next?

With Singapore as its nerve centre, Kahoot! is poised to deepen its ties with educators, businesses, and even government initiatives throughout APAC.
Whether it’s helping a science teacher spark curiosity or enabling a regional manager to run more engaging training across multiple offices, the company’s reach and relevance are growing by the day.
