Samsung has unveiled its latest flagship model, the Galaxy S25 Edge, setting a new benchmark in ultra-slim smartphone engineering.
Measuring a mere 5.8mm in thickness and weighing just 163g, it is currently the thinnest Galaxy smartphone ever produced. Yet, despite its refined silhouette, the Galaxy S25 Edge maintains the performance and durability expected of a flagship device.

Crafted from titanium and fortified with the new Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2, the Galaxy S25 Edge is still exceptionally resilient. Its form factor is also ergonomically considered, offering users a comfortable grip while remaining exceptionally light in hand.

Unlike the regular S25 series, the device is equipped with a 200MP main camera. Enhancements to Samsung’s Nightography capabilities deliver up to 40% brighter images in low-light settings compared to its predecessor.
Additionally, the 12MP ultra-wide camera now features autofocus, allowing for detailed macro photography and improved depth in wide-angle shots.
Samsung’s proprietary ProVisual Engine further enhances image processing, offering nuanced portrait rendering and intelligent subject recognition. Users can also leverage features such as Audio Eraser and Drawing Assist, which allows for AI-enhanced sketching and design work.

The core of the Galaxy S25 Edge is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform for Galaxy, a chipset uniquely optimised in collaboration with Qualcomm. This provides up to 40% improvement in NPU, 37% in CPU, and 30% in GPU performance over the previous model.
It also enables the ProScaler function, which enhances image scaling by 40% for sharper and more realistic visuals, particularly when streaming or gaming. To ensure thermal stability, the device features a new-generation vapour chamber design that dissipates heat efficiently even under intensive workloads such as video rendering or real-time AI tasks.

Building on the momentum of Galaxy AI, the S25 Edge introduces a suite of enhanced, on-device artificial intelligence capabilities. The Now Brief and Now Bar features offer intelligent, contextual prompts based on user activity.
Additionally, the integration of Gemini Live allows for real-time visual identification and conversational interaction with objects, text, or scenes captured by the camera. Importantly, all AI-powered features are securely processed on-device and safeguarded by Samsung Knox Vault.
