ASICS has launched the new GEL-KAYANO 32, the latest crown jewel in ASICS’ stability series.
It’s plush, it’s polished, and it’s purpose-built. At the heart of the GEL-KAYANO 32 lies the 4D GUIDANCE SYSTEM, a tech-laden tongue-twister that translates into a smoother, more stable stride, no matter how awkward your gait might be on mile ten.

Add to that the upgraded FF BLAST PLUS cushioning, and you’ve got a midsole that rebounds with energy. The new version even throws in an extra 2mm of foam under the forefoot, which may not sound like much, but your arches will thank you after a long run.
And then there’s PureGEL, a name that sounds like it belongs in a skincare aisle, but is in fact ASICS’ proprietary answer to shock absorption. Embedded in all the right places, it’s the invisible co-pilot that helps deliver softer landings and silkier transitions.

Visually, the new engineered mesh upper is all sleek lines and subtle textures. But beneath that stylish exterior lies thoughtful function. The design wraps around your foot, supportive but never suffocating. The redesigned tongue wing adds targeted structure around the midfoot, improving the fit and preventing the kind of side-to-side movement that turns confident strides into ankle-twisting stumbles.
Even the outsole has been upgraded with HYBRID ASICSGRIP, which sounds like something a robot might wear, but is in fact a beefed-up rubber blend offering better traction and durability.

There’s a quiet dignity in ASICS’ brand ethos, Anima Sana In Corpore Sano, a Latin phrase meaning “A Sound Mind in a Sound Body.”
As Tomohiro Nishida, the man behind the plush silo at ASICS, puts it: “With unique approaches like the 4D GUIDANCE SYSTEM and PureGEL technology, we have delivered adaptive stability and superior comfort. The GEL-KAYANO 32 continues this journey of continuous improvement.”
Whether you’re a seasoned marathoner or a casual evening jogger who’s just trying to close your fitness rings, this is a shoe that meets you where you are, and nudges you just a little further.

Available globally from 1 June 2025, including ASICS retail outlets and online. If you’ve been waiting for a sign to upgrade your run, this might just be it.
