If you’ve ever left the cinema wondering why your living room doesn’t sound half as good as the local cineplex, Sony has just handed you a ticket to transform that home-viewing gripe into a full-blown BRAVIA experience.
The new BRAVIA Theatre home audio line-up is an all-star ensemble of soundbars, subwoofers and rear speakers designed not just to impress audiophiles, but to bring the full drama, thunder, and whisper of cinema sound right into your HDB flat.
The showstopper here is the BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6, a 3.1.2 channel soundbar that packs a punch with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, a dedicated centre speaker for clear dialogue, and Sony’s own Vertical Surround Engine.
It even comes with a wireless subwoofer that roars. Movie night suddenly got a whole lot more immersive.

But what’s a surround setup without the full cast? Cue the BRAVIA Theatre Rear 8 speakers and BRAVIA Theatre Sub 7, which wirelessly pair with compatible soundbars to expand the soundscape into a genuine 360-degree affair.
Thanks to Sony’s 360 Spatial Sound Mapping, your living room becomes less “flat screen” and more “full theatre.” Explosions sound like they’re happening behind you. Rain? It falls all around you. Dialogue? Crystal-clear, thanks to the upmixer and Voice Zoom 3 powered by AI machine learning.
Clean lines, compact forms, and subtle finishes make them ideal companions to modern home interiors. What’s more, the Sub 7’s two-way installation flexibility means it can sneak under a shelf or stand proudly beside your TV console.

Sony knows the quickest way to kill the cinematic mood is to fumble for remotes mid-scene. That’s why the new BRAVIA range syncs seamlessly with BRAVIA TVs via the BRAVIA Connect app.
Adjust volume, check your setup, even fiddle with sound field settings all from your smartphone or, if you prefer, straight from your TV remote thanks to integrated UI controls.

These new audio products use fabric made from recycled PET bottles and come housed in packaging with reduced plastic usage. It’s done without compromising sound quality, texture, or design.
Accessibility is another leading note in Sony’s composition. For the visually impaired, tactile dots and thoughtfully raised square frames on the packaging guide users to QR codes and HDMI ports.

The BRAVIA Theatre Bar 6 will retail at S$999, with the Rear 8 speakers going for S$549 and the Sub 7 woofer at S$399. All will be available in Singapore from July 2025.
