SP Mobility has teamed up with P.UP, Southeast Asia’s largest EV mobile charging concierge, to roll out hybrid EV charging plans.
For EV drivers, convenience is king. That’s exactly what this new hybrid model delivers.
The plans, starting from $119 per month, offer a combination of discounted SP charging credits and on-demand mobile charging services from P.UP.
This means EV owners can either plug in at any of SP Mobility’s 2,000+ charging points across Singapore or summon P.UP’s mobile DC fast chargers straight to their location—be it home, office, or even a shopping mall car park.
While the car is being charged, P.UP adds a little extra pampering with complimentary car grooming services.
And for those who sign up early, there are exclusive perks, including premium grooming services like free car polishing or ceramic coating. Getting your car cleaned and charged at the same time sounds like a pretty great deal to us.
Dean Cher, Head of Mobility at SP Group’s Sustainable Energy Solutions division, highlighted the impact of this initiative.
“The future of accelerated EV adoption hinges on solving real challenges for drivers; ensuring charging is accessible and available when users need it. By combining SP Mobility’s extensive charging network with P.UP’s mobile solutions, we aim to provide drivers with a comprehensive, flexible, and reliable charging experience across the island.”
Chin Kee Min, Co-Founder and CEO of P.UP, echoed the sentiment, emphasising how this partnership aligns with P.UP’s mission to remove potential barriers for new EV ownership.
“We are proud to introduce these groundbreaking hybrid EV charging plans with SP Mobility. These plans are designed to address key pain points faced by EV owners while also rewarding them for making the right choice for the environment.”
Beyond just convenience, the hybrid EV charging plans mark a significant shift in how Singaporeans approach prospective EV ownership.
