Nissan Ambition 2030 further accelerates electrification strategy.

Through Nissan Ambition 2030, Nissan aims to expand the possibilities of mobility and society.

The plan aims to provide experiences that inspire confidence and excitement. This, it seems, is the company’s new initiatives related to its electrification strategy.

This means further promoting the democratisation of EVs and e-POWER models, improving the competitiveness of development and manufacturing globally, and further accelerating growth to achieve Nissan Ambition 2030.

As part of Nissan Ambition 2030, Nissan originally announced its roadmap of 23 new electrified vehicles, including 15 EVs, by 2030.

However, due to the growing needs of customers for exciting and diverse electrified vehicles, Nissan has increased this target to 27 new electrified models, including 19 new EVs, by 2030 instead.

As a result, the electrification mix across Nissan and Infiniti is projected to increase to more than 55% globally, up from the previous forecast of 50%.

enhanced engagement with customers.

Nissan also intends to further enhance customer experience through personalised services, in order to improve long-term engagement.

One initiative would be Nissan’s Connected Car Service strategy, improving from enriched onboard content to enabling on-demand functions to cater to diversifying customer needs.

The company aims to achieve this through Software Defined Vehicles which is already demonstrated by the e-architecture currently installed in Nissan Ariya. This architecture will be available in more models in the coming years.

As the world moves into an EV-dominated umpire, you can be sure Nissan will be at the forefront of it.
