Polestar gets its own Space.

EV maker Polestar opens its first showroom in Southeast Asia, aptly named Polestar Space.

Polestar, the Electric Vehicle (EV) spin-off from Volvo has officially opened its first showroom at 45 Leng Kee Road. The showroom, dubbed Polestar Space Singapore, is the first in Southeast Asia.

The 210 square meter showroom is designed in keeping with the brand’s corporate identity that is typically Scandinavian, clean and minimalist underscored with the aesthetic of a fine art gallery.

This allows the cars to be the centerpiece of the (pardon the pun) Space while the backdrop of aluminum paneled display wall displays options such as colour choices.

Like a giant puzzle, the big aluminum panels can be made to open to reveal technical highlights such as the Öhlins dual flow valve dampers, or the Akebono, and Brembo brake systems.

In conjunction with the opening of Polestar Space Singapore, a third variant of the Polestar 2 EV sedan was unveiled. Simply called the Polestar Standard Range Single Motor, it makes entry to ownership of the EV brand more accessible by coming in at $16,000 less than the Long Range Single Motor.

Despite the lower asking price, Polestar assures customers that all three variants of the 2 in Singapore come fitted with the Plus Pack as standard. This includes a suite of features such as a Harmon Kardon Premium Sound system, panoramic glass roof, wireless phone charger and seats made from WeaveTech, a fabric that’s made from 100% vegan material
