Epson expands lineup of energy-efficient inkjet printers.

The move is aligned with Epson and its sustainability commitment, following the phasing out of laser printers in Southeast Asia by the end of 2023.

Epson has just rolled out two new printers in Singapore – the Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-C400 and AM-C550.

They represent a new beacon of sustainability and efficiency in the bustling world of office equipment.

Recently, Epson Southeast Asia did some digging with a survey involving 1,500 decision-makers and end-users across the region.

The results? A striking 50% want more sustainable printers and nearly 60% place energy efficiency at the top of their wishlist. It appears that the call for greener printing solutions is louder than ever.

Thus these new printers are born. The new AM-C400 and AM-C550 models are the A4 siblings to the earlier A3 variants, boasting the same robust features but with a compact twist.

With a minimal footprint (just 465mm x 570mm) these printers are perfect for snug office corners or bustling reception areas where space is as precious as time.

Epson’s new Solutions Suite is on hand too, helping out with tasks such as enhancing document security, managing device fleets and cutting costs; a godsend for streamlining those pesky workflow processes.

a nod to eco-friendliness.

Thanks to Epson’s Heat-Free Technology, these printers consume up to 85% less power than traditional laser printers. Just think about the difference that could make to your electricity bill, and to the environment.

Moreover, with fewer parts needing replacement, not only do you cut down on maintenance time, but you also reduce waste significantly.

Epson knows that no one likes a complicated gadget. That’s why the AM-C400 and AM-C550 come with user-friendly perks like a hassle-free front-loading design and a customizable 10.1” touch panel.

And for those who are environmentally conscious, there’s a nifty green leaf icon on the duplex printing function to remind you to save paper. It’s thoughtful touches like these that make a printer feel less like a machine and more like a part of the team.

Epson’s commitment to sustainability.

Derek Tan, Head of Sales and Marketing at Epson Singapore, sums it up beautifully: “Although laser printers are still quite popular here, their energy-intensive nature can clash with our sustainability goals. That’s why we’re bringing in the WorkForce Enterprise AM series—our answer to the region’s call for environmentally friendly yet high-performance printing solutions.”

The Epson WorkForce Enterprise AM-C400 and AM-C550 are set to hit the shelves by May 2024.

Whether you’re looking to upgrade your office equipment or take a step forward in your company’s green journey, these printers promise to be a worthwhile investment.
