An edutainment escape room? WWF Singapore debuts “Guardians of the Future”.

Dubbed “Guardians of the Future”, this first-of-its-kind escape room comprises a three-part thematic edutainment experience designed to highlight critical global, regional, and local environmental challenges.

Eco-warriors and adventure enthusiasts! Get ready to embark on a journey that transcends the boundaries of mere fun, because WWF-Singapore is unleashing an immersive escape room extravaganza. Buckle up, because this isn’t your typical escape room—it’s an environmental odyssey.

For the next three months, starting December 7, 2023, and running till March 7, 2024, you have the golden ticket to WWF-Singapore’s thematic escape room hosted at The Escape Artist in HarbourFront Centre.

Picture this: a three-part journey designed around WWF-Singapore’s pillars – Climate and Sustainability, Nature, and Community. It’s not just about solving puzzles; it’s about living the story.

You’ll find yourself in the shoes of a climate refugee, navigating the challenges of a regional forest ranger, and facing the everyday struggles of a Singaporean dealing with single-use plastic.

Vivek Kumar, CEO-designate of WWF-Singapore, emphasizes that this isn’t just about the adrenaline rush. It’s a call to action, a plea for each of us to step up for the environment. It’s about taking the lessons learned in the escape room and applying them to the real-world challenges we face every day.

Justin Lee, the mastermind behind The Escape Artist, isn’t just in it for the thrills. He believes in turning commitment into action. This collaboration isn’t just about escape rooms; it’s about nurturing players into becoming environmental stewards.

Imagine the thrill of the game intertwined with a purpose-driven mission. Now, that’s an escape room with a soul.

Of course, we’re not going to spoil the rooms for you; you’ll have to discover them yourself! Here’s a sneaky picture for your perusal in the meantime.

Now, let’s talk tickets. It’s your passport to this green adventure, priced at $22 on weekdays and $28 on weekends and public holidays. Grab them online at www.wwf.sg/escape-room or swing by to get them in person at The Escape Artist.

And guess what? Part of the ticket sale proceeds go toward WWF-Singapore’s conservation efforts. Talk about a win-win!

But that’s not all. As you delve into the escape room saga, there’s an educational twist waiting for you. WWF-Singapore has set up booths unravelling the dark side of the illegal wildlife trade. Think smuggling tactics, makeshift snares, and the frontline rangers fighting to protect our wildlife.

But, these booths won’t be there for long, so catch them while you can! The booths will be available from 7 to 21 December 2023, and are located right outside The Escape Artist, along the walkways of Harbourfront Centre.

Additionally, should you want to become a volunteer with WWF Singapore, you can sign up via this highlighted bit of text. Every bit counts, so do your part and help conserve the environment!

So, fellow guardians, gear up for an adventure that goes beyond the confines of four walls. It’s time to escape into a world where entertainment meets purpose, and every puzzle piece holds the key to a greener, brighter future.

Will you answer the call and become Guardians of the Future? The escape room awaits.
