espousing sustainability and style with Kohler.

Kohler is championing sustainability for its 150th anniversary and has enacted a series of campaigns to reflect its new approach.

With consumers being increasingly conscious of their impact on the environment, the responsibility to reduce the impact on nature has not only fallen on the shoulders of individuals but also corporations with the power to make a big difference.

In celebration of its 150th anniversary, Kohler has kindly provided us with an inside look of its Experience Center, and how they are shaping products in line with consumers’ interests.

experience the magic yourself.

The best part about the Experience Center is being able to visualise what Kohler has on offer. Bathroom amenities, kitchen fixtures, and miscellaneous furnishing are all on display, enabling prospective customers to feel and touch what their future bathroom might look like.

And one would find that especially helpful, considering the number of attractive options available on site. Even an item as simple as a rainshower has multiple configurations and attachments, providing you with hours of heated discussions with your significant other on what colour the sink should be for your home.

If base colours aren’t your thing, you may even fancy yourself snagging up one of these limited edition designs. In celebration of Kohler’s 150th anniversary, they have partnered with four trailblazing female artists (Elle, Pushpa Kumari, Amanda Nahu, and Ziling Wang) from around the world.

These visionary creators share a passion for bold colour and daring innovation, and each have created unique intricate patterns that are baked into Kohler’s products. If you’re interested, snag them up fast, because each design is limited to 150 pieces worldwide.

Walking through the showroom, we also found this standing tub to be quite intriguing, as it presents itself as an alternative to help individuals with standing difficulties to be able to shower or soak in a tub without the need for additional assistance.

believing in better.

As part of sustainability efforts from Kohler, they have wrapping up their Handshower Trade-In Campaign – a campaign which is running from July to December 2023.

Picture this: you stroll into the Kohler Experience store, your trusty old handshower in hand. It’s been with you through thick and thin, but it’s time for an upgrade. Drop it off, and you can snag a shiny new one at a whopping 60% off!

And, the first 150 folks to join this handshower bonanza get an exclusive chance to grab the Kohler New Statement Multifunction Handshower with WaterMind Technology at just S$129 instead of the usual S$388.

This new handshower isn’t your average Joe. It’s got pressure-sensing magic – affectionately dubbed WaterMind Technology. It’s like having a personal assistant for your shower, adjusting the nozzle to give you that perfect water flow, no matter the pressure. For those of us living in high-rise havens where water pressure can be as unpredictable as the weather, this is dearly needed.

making a big change.

But, why all this fuss about sustainability? Well, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword for Kohler; it’s their anthem. The Believing in Better campaign isn’t just about cool discounts; it’s a call to arms for proper waste management. Kohler wants you to trade in that old handshower not for it to end up in a landfill but to be reborn into something new and fabulous.

They’ve teamed up with Toyotron to collect those retired hand showers. These aren’t going to the shower graveyard; they’re getting melted, repurposed, and transformed into something useful.

Kohler’s goal? Recycle a cool 1000 hand showers – that’s a thousand steps closer to a greener planet. And guess what? This aligns perfectly with Singapore’s Zero Waste Nation mission.

Kohler isn also fighting the sustainability battle on other fronts. The KOHLER WasteLAB is turning manufacturing leftovers into artisan tiles, proving that waste can be a canvas for creativity.

For those who are interested in paying a visit to the Experience Center, you might even walk away with a lucky draw for a staycation at Mandarin Oriental. Spend a minimum of $1500, and you might find yourself sipping champagne in a swanky hotel.

The KOHLER Experience Center is located at 52/54 Peck Seah Street, Tanjong Pagar, Singapore 079320 (Close to Tanjong Pagar MRT Station).

The store is open from 10am to 6pm from Monday to Saturday and from 12pm to 6pm on Sunday, only on appointment basis, and closed on public holidays.
